Blurb: Black Dress Chronicles, 1
The perfect shade of lipstick can lead to the perfect opportunity for sin…
When living-challenged author Claire Presswood gets invited to go on a night out on the town with her two best friends, she isn't prepared for the evening that awaits her. Hungry and overworked, she arrives at a masked party at an art museum in time to meet debonair artist Maxwell Douglas. One look from his luminous eyes and Claire knows this will be a night to remember.

Be Warned: light BDSM, spanking, sex toys

Excerpt:
“What do you think? Does this lipstick make me look fat?” I eyed the mirror and mushed my lips into a moue.
“Oh my God, Claire.” Rachel rolled her eyes and snorted. “Fat? Really?” She smoothed on a shade of cranberry red that looked dazzling with her preternaturally enhanced olive skin. The girl made being a vampire look good.
    I gave her a thumb’s up.
“Yes. Fat. Come on, guys. I need something different. Nothing too…edgy.”
“Edgy, huh?” Carmen snickered, her kitty shifter cattiness coming into play. The Latin beauty grinned.         “You should be worried about it making you look dead.”
Carmen sauntered over to the makeup counter where we were trying on new shades of lipstick and selected a tube, twisting it open. She grimaced and shoved it back.     “Some of these…ugh. You might as well be trying out for the circus. Why don’t you try something a little more drastic? Like this one?” She lifted up a black tube and opened it to reveal a shade of purplish brown that I loved.
“Sin” was one of the hottest colors around. I actually had it in my makeup bag at home, but tonight wasn’t about scaring up a bondage partner. It was more about having a normal night out with the girls.
“I already have that one. Too leather club. I want human. Natural.”
Carmen snorted and twirled a finger in her hair. “Honey, I love you, but one thing you are not is human.”
“Bitch.” I turned my head from side to side. Nope. The earthy shade was appealing and didn't make me appear like a candidate for the coroner’s office.
     Score!
“Maybe, but you know I’m right. Can’t have you going to the party looking like a zombie now, can we?”
“Ha ha.” The comment stung, but Carmen did have a point. With my complexion, if I got something too red, I’d look like I’d just eaten someone’s face off. Something too light? Postmortem ice queen with no color at all. Finding the right lipstick was an art and apparently a forensic science.
“All right, fang girl. Are you ready yet? Because I am.” Carmen poked Rachel in the back with her long red fingernail and smirked. “The party is going to be over and all the hot guys taken before you get your vampire ass out of that chair.”

***Nona's Review of Lipstick by Erzabet Bishop***

A vampire, a cat shifter and a zombie walk into a bar…

Or in this case, an art gallery. Claire wonders if her shade of lipstick is too outre for the evening out she has planned with her besties Carmen (cat shifter) and Rachel (vampire). Claire's social life hasn't been too impressive since her husband left her after she'd been turned into a zombie. Even her diet is somewhat limited--she prefers raw hamburger and steak to munching on human brains.

The gallery features a display of erotic art and soon Claire encounters the artist, who is everything a sexually deprived zombie gal could wish for and more. When she gets him alone, surprises and excitement ensue.

Lipstick is a fun and erotic short story for lovers of the paranormal. Due to its brief length, it's more of an appetizer than a full meal, but will leave readers eager for a taste of author's other work. Perhaps there will be stories for Rachel and Carmen, too?

#Werewolves Love #Cupcakes! To Mate a Werewolf @KryssieFortune #recipe #PNR

Happy Friday, all! I have a guest today--Kryssie Fortune is here talking about her new release, To Mate a Werewolf. And guess what? She brought cupcakes! Yum yum, all for me. But don't worry, she also brought a recipe so you can make some, too! Happy reading (and eating :-) )!

Sweet Treats Werewolves Love

Hi,
Kryssie Fortune here. I’ve dropped by to tell you about the heroine in my latest book. She discovered werewolves love cake.

Last time I saw her, she gave some of her recipes to share with my friends.
Of course, Ellie never had time for such fancy decorations shown below. The Lykae soldiers always got to her buns before she’d finished

Excerpt

He lifted the book from her hands. “Mom, I think I gave you the wrong idea about Ellie last night.”
His mother flung her arms around him. “Congratulations on your win. Now listen, young man. Ellie's a treasure, and she knows her way around a wood-burning stove. When she offered to take over the catering, I could have kissed her. Goodness knows how she’ll find the time, but she promised to set up tables and benches too. ”
Joel’s shoulders sagged with relief. His mother always judged people correctly, and his clever Ellie had charmed her. She’s mine, but she doesn’t know it yet. A growl rumbled through his throat when he realized she could have any man she chose. One taste of her delicious concoctions, and she had them in the palm of her hand. The only one dumb enough to resist her had been him. The lush contours of her body and the sweet taste of her lips fascinated him. .

Recipe for Ellie’s Cupcake Tower

1 egg
1 tsp Baking Powder (1.2 tsp U.S. measurement)
2 tsp Vanilla Essence (2.4 tsp U.S. measurement)

Recipe

1. Mix the flour, sugar, egg and margarine together in a large mixing bowl for two to three minutes until fully combined.

2. To this mixture add the Vanilla essence and Baking powder and stir again until completely mixed.

3. Fill the muffin cases to just over half way.

4. Put in the oven for 15-20 minutes at 190C (180C Fan) Gas 5 until springy and a light golden colour. (For U.S. readers, over temperature should be 375 degrees Fahrenheit.)

Note from Nona: For friends in the states, I converted the ingredient measurements to U.S. standards using http://www.exploratorium.edu/cooking/convert/measurements.html.
Oven temperature conversions were made at: http://www.metric-conversions.org/temperature/celsius-to-fahrenheit.htm

Happy baking!

Book Blast: Hell's Bounty by @KaydenClaremont #PNR #giveaway #GoddessFish

***Kayden will be awarding $25 Amazon gift card to a randomly drawn winner via rafflecopter during this tour and the *Review Only Tour, here***

Raven Hart, a succubus bounty hunter for Hell, is on a hunt. With her query in sight, she hits a brick wall, or rather the very hard chest of a giant sexy man. She might have lost the prize for now, but she's a winner when the hottie wants to get physical.

Marcus Dionysius, a Nephilim working for Heaven, has one mission—to prevent Hell’s beauty from stealing souls meant for the higher plane. But he soon realizes he’s met his sexual match. She’s naughty enough to tempt his senses, but her innocence means he can’t walk away when she needs him most.

Working together to discover who’s snatching souls from Heaven, they realize the true danger is falling in love.

Excerpt:

A giant of a man ducked as he entered the bar, paused, took off his sunglasses, tucked them into his jacket pocket, and waited for his eyes to adjust to the dim lighting. He surveyed the bar, then decided his path. Keeping his head high and his eyes skimming the people, he avoided eye contact with everyone.

She watched him. An undeniable current of electricity pulsed through him. Stopping beside her, he dwarfed her slight stature with colossal height, muscular build that showed through the suit, and an air of confidence that made everyone in the bar notice him. He signaled the bartender for a single-malt whiskey, neat.

Once the drink showed up, he cradled the glass in his immense hands, then nodded at her and took a sip of the golden liquid. Pure ecstasy showed on his face. “You waiting for someone special?”

Raven tried to fight the attraction arcing between them. “Everyone is special”

A smile crept across his generous lips, and humor twinkled in his mocha eyes. “I guess.” He took another sip.

Scanning him from head to toe, she asked, “How tall are you?”

He looked down at her with choirboy eyes and his smile widened. “Seven-five, give or take.”

Running her fingertips around the top of the glass she surveyed him once more. If Raven didn’t know better, she’d think he was an immortal, but she could usually sense them. Each immortal had a unique aura about them, a distinct imprint whether fae or shifter or undead.

#Review: Sigil Fire by @erzabetbishop #PNR #erotic #Lesbian

Sigil Fire by Erzabet Bishop

Blurb:

Sonia is a succubus with one goal: stay off Hell’s radar. But when succubi start to die, including her sometimes lover, Jeannie, she’s drawn into battle between good and evil.

Fae is a blood witch turned vampire, running a tattoo parlor and trading her craft for blood. She notices that something isn’t right on the streets of her city. The denizens of Hell are restless. With the aid of her nest mate Perry and his partner Charley, she races against time before the next victim falls. The killer has a target in his sights, and Sonia might not live to see the dawn.

***Nona’s Review of Sigil Fire by Erzabet Bishop***

This erotic paranormal romance takes place in a world inhabited by demons, vampires, witches and succubi. Fae, a blood witch who has also been turned into a vampire, has disturbing dreams of a redheaded who calls for help. Haunted by these nightmares, she wonders who the woman can be.

Fae’s brother Perry (a vampire) and his partner Charley (a succubus) are detectives trying to find who is murdering succubi in their city. Fae is contemptuous of Charley, and all succubi, finding them shallow and manipulative. She knows this from bitter experience.

Someone else is concerned about the murders. Sonia is a succubus and fetish model, and several of her friends, including a former lover, have been murdered. She’s determined to stop the killer before any more of her loved ones are lost. When Sonia appears at Fae’s tattoo shop for a sigil (marking for magical intent), Fae recognizes the woman of her dreams.

This was a very erotic story. Fae and Sonia both have reasons to mistrust each other, but when they get together, their connection practically made my e-reader melt. I liked that they had to learn to trust each other and work together to destroy the murderer. I don’t read a lot of this type of story, but I thought the author did a good job of world building. It was a dark shadowy world, as in a film noir, but instead of detectives and femme fatales, it was filled with creatures of the night and the undead.

Sigil Fire produced several twists and turns that had me wondering if the two heroines would succeed in finding their happy ending. If you enjoy dark paranormal romance with plenty of heat, you will enjoy Sigil Fire.

Man-Up Monday with Solomon and Cain

Helllooo, Divas! Do I have a treat for you today. Hot, sexy, alpha vampire twins!! Yes, that's right, I said TWINS! Author Anais Morgan released BLOOD & GOLD today -- a dark paranormal erotic romance. As part of her release day blast, she's stopped by with a smokin' hot excerpt. Check it out!

**********

Solomon got off the couch and started looking for his brother. It wasn’t hard. He came around the corner to his room and found Mary on Cain’s bed. Her eyes read pure terror, and as she gazed at him they were pleading for Solomon to help her. He noticed Cain’s hand trailing over her throat and how he flexed her petite neck beneath his grasp. The smile curving his lips told Solomon that Cain had plans to feed.
Solomon cleared his throat. “What are you guys doing?”
Mary looked at him. “Pl-“
“We were just going to go for a swim,” Cain interrupted.
Mary’s gaze flew to him. “We were?”
“Yes. I’d like to see you wet. I missed it that night in the tub and now I want to see more. You can keep your tank top and panties on if that will make you more comfortable.”
Mary wiggled out of his grasp and stepped away from the bed. “Isn’t there a suit?”
Cain shook his head. “Just what you’ve got on.” He stood and took her hand in his. Solomon hurried after them as they headed down the hall. The one place that they kept as more of a secret-because suicide was always an option for the blood slaves-was just next to Deacon’s room behind a door labeled “Dungeon.” It was Deacon’s idea and so far it worked at keeping the slaves out.

Inside, the pool took up quite a chunk of the room. It was four feet deep on one end and blended into a ten foot area. A diving board sat on the edge. The room itself was rather boring. The walls were medium blue with black stripes in the middle. The tile floor was ceramic and white with small flecks of black in them. There were several beach lounge chairs around each side of the pool, and in one corner was a wooden bench. A towel rack sat near the door with dozens of black beach towels.
Cain pulled Mary into the room and took off the chain necklace he used as a shirt. He stripped his pants off until he was naked. Mary’s cheeks turned pink and she glanced away. Cain grabbed her chin and made her look at him. “Our bodies are beautiful.”
Mary tried to get away, but Cain pulled her in for a hug. Solomon’s fingers itched to knock his twin’s lights out. Even though Cain was gay, Mary didn’t know that. And Cain was known to switch from time to time. Solomon had to break this up before he did something he regretted to his brother. He took a step forward. “Virgin, why don’t you strip down too?”
Her eyes narrowed on him.
He smiled as he shrugged off his jacket, leaving his torso naked. “I’ll let you wear this.” He offered her his jacket. “I wouldn’t want you to feel too naked.”
Mary’s lips trembled, but then she reached out and took his coat. Keeping her back to them, she removed her shorts. Solomon’s gaze filled with that shapely ass of hers in lace panties. The way the blue lace complimented her skin made his mouth water. Betty had done an excellent job of finding undergarments for Mary.
Solomon did noticed four piercings in her back. They were becoming popular, back dimple piercings spread across her lower back. She had two big ones on each side with a smaller one beneath them. He’d never seen them up close and truth be told, he was pleased with them. The alignment was perfect for his thumbs as he fucked her ass. Maybe she got them at the same time as the ink? The convent had said nothing about her piercings. In fact, their report had said she’d had her ears done once but they had since grown closed.
Cain scanned her body and Solomon found it best to act uninterested.
At the sight of Mary wearing his jacket, Solomon grew hard watching as his warmth, a jacket he loved, gave her confidence and cradled her. He wished that the jacket was his arms and his hands were on her tits.
Cain jumped in cannonball-style. Mary peered over her shoulder at Solomon. The way the water and dim lighting reflected off her eyes made him wish he could kiss her. His lips burned to touch hers, but not in front of his brother. “Go for it,” he said, wishing he could have come up with something a little less corny.
Mary slid into the water. Solomon watched as she dunked her hair. She came up, watering dripping off every inch of her. The way the water trickled down between her breasts, the way she breathed out, Solomon was going to come in his pants at the sight. His jacket opened a bit to reveal her tank clung to her body, her nipples hard, and Solomon reached for his dick. The two were busy swimming so they wouldn’t notice. He sat down on one of the benches that decorated the room and watched as she splashed water at Cain. His twin laughed and did the same.
Solomon’s hand slid down his length from outside of his pants. He groaned as her jacket opened even more. The tank had sagged from the water’s weight, and her breast were ready to spring free. He bit into his lip and tasted his blood, a sour taste, but something had to get his mind off of how sexy she looked. Fuck, he wished he could be in there with her, touching those erect nipples, grabbing that shapely ass. He shook his head.

Cain swam over and grabbed the nape of Mary’s neck. Solomon let go of his cock as Cain forced her head back and bit.
**********

She will feed them or die. Or both.

Just when eighteen-year-old Mary Scott is ready to go to culinary school, she’s captured and held prisoner by The Order-a religious group that sells humans to vampires. Mary is sent to become the blood slave to the Wictreds, a family of three vampires. There’s Deacon, the gentleman with a short temper, Solomon, sarcastic one with some serious mood swings, and Cain, the child-like one that has a problem with self control. Her only hope is to escape, but she has a single chance. If she’s caught she’ll be killed to keep her silent.

As time passes, Mary’s days become numbered. After all, she has only so much blood. The longer she’s in the house, the more time she spends with Solomon. When he’s not toying with her, he’s actually a nice guy and protects her from his brothers. Mary loves his company and soon his presence makes her heart flutter. But humans and vampires must be separate, and Deacon will do anything to keep the family honor intact.
