Hello all! I've been tagged by writer friend Kara Leigh Miller to be part of The Next Big Thing Blog Hop! I'm answering some questions below, then linking to another blog at the end. Thanks, Kara Leigh, for thinking of me! Here we go:

What is the working title of your book?

His and Hers and Hers (formerly His and Hers). My publisher suggested the change, thinking it was a better hook. They know their stuff, so I'm inclined to agree.

Where did the idea come from for the book?

I'm not sure, really. I wanted to try my hand at a ménage romance, and for the threesome to be more than a fling or an experiment. I was interested in seeing how adding a third person to a serious relationship would affect all three people involved.

What genre does your book fall under?

Contemporary erotic romance.

Which actors would you choose to play your characters in a movie rendition?

Oh, boy, it would have to be an Adult film! When I was writing Jordan, I pictured the actor Adrian Grenier (from the HBO series Entourage). Kyla might be America Ferrara and Cassie maybe Kate Hudson.

What is the one-sentence synopsis of your book?

A committed couple takes a chance and brings their close friend as a third into their relationship.

Will your book be self-published or represented by an agency?

Neither. It's to be published by Loose Id, but there's no agent involved.

How long did it take you to write the first draft of your manuscript?

About three to four months.

What other books would you compare this story to within your genre?

I'd compare it to books like Accidental Love for Three by Rachel Clark and Lisa's Gift by Mackenzie McKade (with a different ending).

Who or What inspired you to write this book?

Simply my own curiosity to explore a ménage relationship (in fiction, lol) and see if I could carry it off.

What else about your book might pique the reader's interest?

Well, it has some hot sexy scenes and some deep emotion as well. I hope one or the other will interest readers!

Kyla Denster and Jordan Brougham are passionately in love. Kyla knows she's lucky to have a guy who uses all his tricks to keep her happy in and out of bed. Jordan knows he's lucky to have such a hot, adventurous girlfriend.

But neither of them knows that their best friend, Cassie DeSantis, wants them both. Cassie's painful past has taught her not to wear her heart on her sleeve.  She keeps quiet, afraid that revealing her feelings would mean losing the two people she cares for most.  Things change one night when an impulsive kiss leads to the three of them spending an incredibly hot night together.

When the couple wants more of Cassie, she leaps at the chance to be with them. But problems arise at her insistence that no one mention the L word and when Jordan and Kyla clash over how to deal with disapproving family.  Their triad relationship will only survive if they all stand together to prove that three is the perfect number—when all three are in love.
